Santa Letters for Children
There are dozens of sites which offer your child the opportunity to get in touch with Santa.
There's nothing quite like the magic of Christmas, when children are young and eagerly awaiting the arrival of
Santa down the chimney.
Did you know that the writer JRR Tolkein's children used to receive personal letters from Father Christmas each
year?
In fact, they've been put together as a collection entitled "Letters from Father Christmas" and contain some great
insights into life at the North Pole. (It makes a beautiful gift book for anyone who loves Tolkein).
He shares about the difficulties of packing some of the oddly shaped gifts and in particular about a wonderful
character, the North Polar Bear. The book is available from Amazon, and would make a wonderful holiday
tradition to read out loud to your children.
